Roly-Poly Books

I have a family advocate that comes to my house. She give me information on a variety of topics in the field of parenting. She suggested an activity for infants that I wish to share:

Purpose: to learn Language skills for infants from 3 to 6 months

1. Turn a round container, like a toilet paper roll or oatmeal box into a book. We used a toilet paper roll.

2. Cut out attractive pictures from magazines like animals, people, cups, balls, food or toys.

3. Cover the pictures with clear contact paper.

4. Play with baby by pointing to different pictures.

5. Ask and tell the baby what the pictures are.

Enjoy!!!
